Purl Brioche or Half Brioche knitted in Portuguese style.
Brioche is a knitting technique that has many application possibilities, with many stitch variations. However, its execution still frightens a lot of people, but believe me it's not a seven-headed beast and I encourage you to start with a very simple but very beautiful stitch.
In this video I show how to make the Purl Brioche or Half Brioche stitch on the right side of the work and knitting in Portuguese style.
Execution:
On the right side of the work:
- when the stitch is purl: yarn over, purl.
- when the stitch is knit: slip (without making) like purl.
It is a very easy stitch to be executed that creates a ribbed effect with a lot of elasticity.
In the next video I show you how to work the row from the wrong side.
Execution:
On the wrong side of the work:
- when the stitch is knit: knit.
- when the stitch is purl (with loop): purl together with the loop.
