Crochet Magic Loop

If you want to make amigurumis or any circular crochet piece it's cool to learn how to make the magic loop. Using this technique to start any circle you avoid that little hole in the center that in many works may not be desirable.

At first it can be frightening and confusing to perform, but I suggest you try it a few times until you get the hang of it and soon you will find it worth learning and using it in your next jobs.

First I will present a step-by-step guide and at the end there is a video.

Leave the end of the yarn facing forward
Make a complete loop of yarn around two fingers
The yarn that is near the fingertips is the shorter side, and the one that is behind is the yarn that comes from the ball of yarn.
Insert the hook under the first thread and take and bring the second thread to the front
Twist the hook so that the thread is twisted in the hook
Pass the hook over the thread
loop the end of the thread that was pulled forward
And pass through the loop that is on the hook
Forming a slip knot
Now we have the ring.
Here you can turn the ring so that the end of the yarn is on the same side as the yarn coming from the ball.
Begin stitching around the ring by tying the shorter thread together.
You can make any stitch. In the example I did the single crochet.
Once you've made the desired number of stitches, just pull the short end of the thread to close the ring.
After pulling the end of the thread make a slip stitch in the first stitch to close the ring.
